If no time limit is indicated, we will automatically collect the skips 15 days from the delivery date. Alternatively you can enter a pre-booked collection date. If you have not pre-booked a collection date and the skip is ready for collection before 15 days, return to our website to arrange collection/re-order a new skip or call our office on 01959 534079.
What size do I need?
Take a look at our skip sizes page as this will give you a better indication of what you might need.
We give the measurements in both feet and metres to make life easier for you. Be realistic when you decide about how much waste that you want to dispose of as it is cheaper to get one big one rather than have to order a second!
Please note that you must not overfill the skip. ALL skips must be level loaded so they can be legally transported on the road.
For larger waste collections please call the office for further information.
Where can the skips be placed?
Most customers have their skip placed on their driveway or private land but if this is not possible you can legally apply have the skip placed on the public highway. Skips placed on a public road must have a Highway Permit from the local Council Authority and must have the correct signage and lights. If you think you might need a permit please contact your local Council for further information. Or we are happy to offer advice if you call the office.
We can not deliver the skip before the permit has been granted.
What access do I need to provide?
All of our vehicles delivering to your property are LGV’s and therefore very large.
Please ensure that there is sufficient access on to your property and remember to add any special delivery details on the booking form.
If you are unsure then please contact us.
What can I put in my skip?
Skips are for general and inert waste only, no Fridges, no TV’s or monitors. No tyres or hazardous waste which includes paints, solvents, liquids or asbestos.
If you would like further advice on this please give the office a call.
